EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF CURRICULUM STUDIES

Braga, Portugal, October 18 and 19, 2013.

Euro-ACS, the European Association of Curriculum Studies, is a research network on curriculum studies, not restricted to European scholars, but concerned directly with the state of the field of curriculum studies in Europe. The association aims to contribute to the development of collaborative research efforts among scholars interested on Curriculum Studies and to promote curriculum research in Europe. In order to contribute to the advancement of curriculum studies in Europe, Euro-ACS is organizing the European Conference of Curriculum Studies.

Future Directions: Uncertainty and Possibility is open to receiving papers presenting theoretical discussions or research products concerning curricular policies and practices. All papers must be presented under one of the following Conference Themes:

۱٫ Curriculum and supranational policies

۲٫ Curriculum and accountability

۳٫ Higher education: curricular challenges

۴٫ Curricular practices and discourses

۵٫ Curriculum studies: theoretical and methodological perspectives

۶٫ Curriculum: in between the social and the personal

۷٫ Curriculum, internationalization and cosmopolitanism.

Submission of abstracts (300 words): 30 April 2013

Notification of acceptance: 20 May 2013

Submission of full papers: 15 June 2013

Reviewers Comments: 30 June

Final Paper Submission: 15 July

Early bird registration deadline: 10 July

Final registration deadline for inclusion in proceedings: 10 August
